I'd really like that as a caption. Maybe to keep up the alliteration, "downstairs they cleaned out your pipes!" There is actually a very simple explanation but we have had a lot of fun with it through the years. Thanks for the welcome. I've already learned a lot.

My memories of my first trip up to the attic spurred the blog name - but, Attics, Skeletons and Old Lace just didn't have the right ring. Besides, the skeleton is long gone. :)Liz Strattonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14355785887810653358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9096878463388762735.post-79133975324354028102011-08-27T18:20:48.477-04:002011-08-27T18:20:48.477-04:00Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of blogg...Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of blogging. I love blogging...have been doing it since 2006 and have made some incredibly wonderful friends in the blog world.

I love the name of your blog, though I must admit, the old lace part is what draws me in the most. I love all things vintage...and old lace is among the most beautiful of vintage treasures.

Attics, on the other hand, used to frighten me. When I was little, the attic was reached through a door in my closet. At night, I used to FREAK OUT that something was up there lurking...waiting to "get me." Now, I think attics are cool, but back then, boy, was I afraid.

Anyhow, welcome!

Blessings to you,
PattiPatti https://www.blogger.com/profile/12931836399684850729noreply@blogger.com
